Flowers For Kids is pleased to announce a new way to become a certified Flowers For Kids teacher. No need to wait for a training class to come to you!

Purchase the kit and it will be shipped to you, study the script, become familiar with the forms and materials included and call a trainer to complete the course over the telephone. The training time is flexible can be worked around your schedule and around your customers coming in! Your personalized training session will last 45-60 minutes.

Whoohooo!!

The beauty of doing it now rather than waiting is cashing in on the summer camps, boys and girls clubs, libraries, girl scouts, etc! You'll have it all down pat before school even starts!

Twiggy, do you mean school classrooms? That is the mainstay of the program and where most FFK teachers give the classes.

You know, you can do a program at your shop and charge for it, do it as a fundraiser where part of the proceeds go to some local charity you are involved with, or want to be involved with. Doesn't have to be a lot, maybe $10-12 per child, you cover the cost of your flowers and make a couple of dollars, the wholesalers and growers would make the profit from your purchase and you would have a couple of dollars for the charity.

Or you could do a monthly/quarterly thing in your shop on a Saturday afternoon where you teach the kids more, or do a special project, or something like that. Keep them coming in your shop. At the very least sending a mailing to them keeps your shop name in front of them and their parents.
