Love the way the dog is on the move to fetch as soon as the ball is lifted...too cute! Brilliant!
Not me...I have too much fun playing with my dog to let her do it herself.

Oh My Gosh....I am howling & holding my sides!!
We have 2 doxies....and they both do this every day, for as long as you will throw the ball. Our now deceased doxie, Gretchen, was the best 2nd baseman you could ever imagine. Tom, my husband, taught her to not only fetch, but to back up across our 24' living & dining room, catch the ball after 1 bounce in the air, and run & return it to you to start the game all over again.
When the kids on our street were short a second baseman, they would come to the porch & ask if Gretchen could come & play ball, because she could jump so high & catch it mid-air....She was the best!!

I grew up with doxies - they are a small dog with a BIG personality. And so smart.
We once had a lab that plays ball with himself by dropping the ball at the top of the driveway (it had a slight incline), letting it roll down a bit and then would chase it, catch it and start all over again.
Currently own a Visla and she would love, love love that contaption! Thanks for sharing!!

I have a Scottie that would literally keep this machine going all day long. I can throw the ball for him for hours and he never gets tired. He's the energizer pooch!
