Do any of you know how to create a message short cut, as in the card message short cuts that you can just type in EX: HB, TY, WYSR, and press F4 and it automatically writes out the message Happy birthday ect...
2 years ago I added some of my own shortcuts to this list on Dove, such as VTFB(visit the floristboard at www.floristboard.com) . I use this shortcut when sending out to other florist. I wanted to add one for Flowerchat as it takes to long to type out. I can't remember how I did this. Calling Dove support was know help as they told me it can not be done at all, only the ones that they have put in there. I know they did not do VTFB, that was me I just can't figure out how I did it!

Whats that??? Oh yea, that site I got banned from this week...was it something I said? No Great loss ;)

Does Dove have a place for "Tag Lines" that you can add that go out on ALL outbound orders, and messages like Advantage does? This might be able to be set up so there is no added typing necessary....

The Tag Lines for dove have to go into the Operator or Special Instructions fields. I've only used Dove for Daisy, and that cannot be preset.

If anyone can tell me how to preset them for Merc Direct, that would be great!!

Well, I can't tell you how to do it with MAS, Advantage or Daisy, but with flowerSoft it is pretty simple. ;)

ryan you won't need them they will be a part of MAS at order taking. Any info in card message automatically goes over. very simple setup. We have most of them pre installed. However if you have a customer who is a very frequent buyer and signs the card the same all the time we can set that also so its only a one button push !!!
 
Hal, the thing they are looking for is different from "abbreviation codes" that are used for cards and send to's...

This is like the thing I use, and MAS has too, where it is attached to outgoing orders below the "Operator" filed...system generated...like the listing of cities served Bill uses....
