Ten years since I last saw him ... you could have heard the squeals of exceitment/amazement and joy throughout the Rai. Our Dutch clients wondered what the heck was going on as we hugged like our lives depended on it. And you know what? J hasn't changed a bit and it was like we were only chatting last week not a decade ago!

J gets the same response in Texas, and probably everywhere he goes. He's like the Brad Pitt or George Clooney of the floral industry with all his groupies. What fun for you! Great photo.

I'd like to know what camera you used..your pictures are awesome...when we were at SAF, the cameras made us ( me) look "older" and very plump! ....

The man in the photo is J. Shwanke AIFD. He is quite well known here in the states and the UK Flame.

He has a series of instructional videoclips on ubloom.com. he is the designer responsible for many of the arrangements in the John Henry catalogs. He is a member of AIFD and there is a host of other accomplishments that escape me at the moment.

He is also a member here on FC.

Crazy about the GIRL!

I too, was INCREDIBLEY Excited to See Carrie Marshall Foster... WHOM to this day...I Love, Respect and Adore... I remember when I designed in ENGLAND and she capped the design program with a wonderful speech about the Passion for Flowers and then told the audience...they were "Simply the BEST" then the SOUND System rocked the house with TINA Turner's Simply the Best! It gave (and continues to give) me goosebumps!

I am Truly Crazy about Carrie and if you want to SEE the Meeting... on the FLOOR of Horti-Fair in the RAI exhibition center...we taped it and it will be included in this Week's JTV Webisode Premiering on Monday Nov 3 at www.ubloom.com! It's the Highlights of Horti-Fair!
