Kroger owns Fred Meyer and Fry's...

Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kroger (NYSE:KR) is the nation's largest retail grocery chain. Kroger also operates 796 convenience stores, 389 fine jewelry stores and 42 food processing plants.

All Kroger stores are FTD.

I got a few orders from Kroger. The funny part was they sent me 2 orders for flowers to go to a hospital about a mile from a Kroger store. My shop is about 10 miles from the hospital. I told them in no uncertain terms I would not fill their orders. No orders since then

This last week, I spotted a couple Press Releases about supermarket chains partnering with 1-800.

Jewel-Osco
Shaw's and Star Market

This group also runs Alberton's and Bristol Farms and was formerly aligned with FTD.

My guess is 1-800 will also be courting FTD's other supermarket affiliates.

The last time I checked, the Kroger Store in Houston do not deliver...
They will sent something if you pay the 3rd party deliver service company to pick up and deliver.

We have grocery stores in our area that are FTD sending ONLY, they do not offer local delivery service.

We recently got an order from a PX at a Marine base, wireouts only from them. That order was nothing but trouble since it was over the phone, they also tried to deny that we delivered it. Will never take an order from them again.
