I have a bride in late May who was told by her church that the only they'd allow a petal toss (as they leave the church) is if the rose petals are freeze dried. This is a new one on me...and sounds pretty expensive. Does anyone have a source for these? Here is the twist...my bride would like freeze dried cream roses and blue hydrangea florets. She also asked if I can get the paper cones for the petals. I know I have seen them in a million catalogs but naturally, I just cleaned out all my old catalogs in preperation form my closing. Thanks!!!!!

Freeze dried probably because they break down faster. Just make paper cones!! Or make them out of oilcloth and the guests can keep it as a keep sake!

I have had brides use Fly Boy Naturals in Oregon. They ship throughout the states and Canada. I have looked at their website www.flyboynaturals.com because the bride wanted me to suggest the blend to match her bouquet. They do sell hydrangea petals as well. I don't think they do wholesale but I didn't investigate it because I don't like getting involved with duty and extra charges when products arrive in Canada. Hopefully this will help you.

Thanks guys!! I think she found flyboy, and was just fishing to see if I could get them cheaper for her. I hate when they do that...I did a little research and asked here, only to find out that she already has a source.

Although, I like the idea of drying my own and selling them to brides for this pita church...this could be a good side business for my trash roses. GREAT TIP!!
