One of my first phone call.... Can I order a wedding bouquet for my daughter who is in ELliot Lake for this Sunday... I want some calla lilies and other flowers.... Shhhes sorry mam, I can't do it as I don't have calla lilies.... Do you have any other lilies? Yes, can you use them? How much will this cost? MInimum $100.00 and up. I think she fainted at this time but she took the minimum. Just like ordering Pizza on the phone. No freaking clue on anything. Mom and Dad are in Alberta and won't be here for this SIMPLE WEDDING.

A few hours later, another phone call for the same wedding party but in town this time. I would like to order a few Bout for the wedding and 2 combs for the hair. Sheeeeees, I had to make sure I had the combs, patience to go withthis SIMPLE WEDDING.
Will do it but they better not complain about it....

THis morning I have 2 funerals, One for 9:00 am del the other for 10:00 am delivery. THe one for 9:00 am, the person died at the beginning of the week and I knew on Wed about the arr. THe family called at 7:00 p.m. last night for a casket spray for this morning. Guest who is in early this morning????

Have to keep those emotion in check for people like this...
I guess I have to understand the situation with funerals...

THe rest of the week, well malfunction cooler with some frozen stuff, plant boxes left in toronto, aside from that everything is peachy....

Florists INVENTED the "just in time" (J.I.T.) model, long before anyone even KNEW what it was all about....

Yeah , me too , casket spray wanted to the funeral home between 10:30 and 11:30 , arrived promptly at 11 , funeral home locked up tight. Anyway just got back after sitting waiting for the directors to show up, don't need anymore aggravations today , Father in getting surgery, enough to deal with.
 
Don't blame in on the 13th - it's the people not the day.

Went in early to finish corsages for the parent/child dance, in through my back door walks family for service beginning at 2...
casket spray, easel spray, basket arrangement, vase arrangement, lid spray (parents, wife, siblings, children)
Deceased died two days ago...their pleas? We forgot about flowers? Delivered at 1...gotta love my funeral director...he works with me...That's the third set of family flowers this week for me. One more tomorrow (won't have those family flowers, they wanted lavender roses only)
Sunny, hope Dad is okay...
 
I know how you feel Sunny, Almost a feeling where you need to be in so many places, but you can't.

Thanks for asking , Dad's doing great . The piece of prostrate didn't apper to be cancerous and they lasered away all the bladder stones. He ate supper , I thought he would be off solid food for few days, but he ate speghetti last night.
 
:) Thanks for telling us Sunny...thank God he's ok. Spaghetti is great comfort food. ;)
