Can anyone in Canada tell me how they have resolved the negative billing issue for Norton with FTD?

I know it was discussed in an earlier thread, but my friend, whose shop I'm in at the moment, is being billed for the disc she never received and doesn't want. She's already protected by Norton. They are charging $15.00/month. I told her I'd post here and get great advice. :)

Thanks.

Look again at the Dec/Jan (the latests one) statement, you should see a $15 charge and a few lines down a $15 credit.

After 3 people at FTD assured me that we would not be charged the $15, we were charged. There is no place on the statement where that credit was issued. The FTD people with whom I spoke about this told me in no uncertain terms that the charge would continue to be added to my statement regardless of which other antivirus systems we had installed. It did not matter to them how many people had told me otherwise, eventhough I had names & date of conversations, etc. They were very curt, to the point, and just short of rude. I have now talked to yet another a FTD person who says, "Don't worry. I'll have the charge removed." We'll see.

I am sooooooo ready to have this albatross gone from my neck.

Victoria, tell her to call Tim, If they know you already have norton, they will charge and then credit you back on the next line. That is what we did.

That's what I told her last night. I'm going in today for a wedding consult and I'll call him for her.

Thanks Missy. Hey, how's the new location? I'm hoping to pop in to see you. Now that I'm not working in that area I haven't had the chance to stop in.

Hi Joe:

Thanks for the response... however, there is no credit issued, just the charge for something she neither needs or wants from FTD. A phone call is next.

Sorry, I didn't notice that the original post was addressed to florists in Canada.

That's alright Connie. Your input and experience is appreciated.

I called the field rep yesterday and left a message on his voice mail. I'm sure I'll hear the result on Monday. :)
