FTD Back to $7 Delivery?

For a while, FTD had upped their delivery charge to $10.

In looking at their website and workbooks, it looks like they have rolled back to the old (and inadequate) $7 delivery fee that is INCLUDED in their price.

I say INADEQUATE because the NET is $5 and that still doesn't pay for the gas, labor, vehicle upkeep, insurance, etc. Doubt it? How far do you think you can get in a Taxicab for $5?

TF never budged from their $7 charge.

And they will KEEP the Delivery Fee at $7 for Valentines even though I have to pay my drivers $5 a delivery and $0.40 a mile just to get enough drivers to fill the orders!

Thing is no matter what "they budget" for delivery it matter not...

I take out what it really is in REAL dollars, then if there is not enough left to fill the order I send it on it's way...

It's the only choice we have!

FTD did not increase their delivery fee

If you look at their prices all they did is say their delivery fee was $10 but the online prices did not change. They just lowered the $$ for the product. There was never any drop in revenue for FTD in the switch, hence there was no increaase in $$ for the florist. Boss is right, take your delivery fee out and if its not enough $$ for the item forward it to a FWOAC.

They don't give you enough to cover for their order so you cover the difference....and you pay them a membership fee....and pay a per order charge.... :rofl:

Now my rep was in today, nice guy that he is and he said they are now giving $10.00. But I said, they did not change the prices, so the consumer is getting screwed even more... he said "no?"...

Boss is right, take your delivery fee out and if its not enough $$ for the item forward it to a FWOAC.
