I put in my "I QUIT" dec 28th.
and they just now call to talk about it?

He is sending me an email with all the free things I can have now....

I just want to see what they offer when you flat out say NO NO NO.

Same with us.
With the new conditions we can live with them a few more months. Let see !!!!!
Be tough and they will bend.
We reject anything below $50.00 and keep only the orders we like and can make $$$$$$$ on.

Gee Teleflora offered me 6 months at no charge for the Dove and no charge for the monthly service fee. I had to stay with them for now for my credit card processing. I will be changing that soon.
 
TF called me today to offer me a free trial membership in time for the MD directory. I said No Thanks and he asked me why. I said I don't need a trial membership since I was a member for many years and I already know I don't like it. He seemed confused that I would turn down something free. Meanwhile I keep getting their e-mail surveys to see how I like future holiday containers. I enjoy filling those out if I have time.

Frank Stornelli, is the Canadian Vice President, for FTD, and has continued to be one of the highest caliber players, that FTD has in it's arsenal...bar none! He is getting it from both ends, and is the VERY REASON why Canadian membership in FTD has ALWAYS BEEN much stronger, than in the US!
IF he's calling you, it's NOT because he HAS to, it's because he GENUINELY regrets losing you as a member!
 
I agree with what Mikey said... Frank is a good guy, but it boils down to the fact that it's his job.

ALL the wires are seeing the same trend, declining membership. It won't become a problem in cities like Toronto for years, as there are many more members than needed already. But they are starting to see problems in smaller 1-3 member towns, and especially in single member towns where folks are figuring out, that being aligned with the Flower-Taliban is not a good thing for their long term health....
 
He was very nice but.
I do wonder why I quit in dec and it takes until March for them to make an offer. I just can't make the numbers work. the reduced rate for 6 more months just means I put off dropping it for another 6 months. NO I have told e mailed him I am done.

The smaller towns are loosing their flower shops never mind that they are dropping the wire services.
At Christmas I tried to call 2 shops I had used the year before, and both were gone.

I had 4 shops that disappeared between Christmas and Valentines
 
The coverage for FTD here in Vermont is very thin and getting thinner. At this point I am the only FTD florist ( outside of a grocery store) in Burlington the largest city in the state. The only FTD florist in Rutland the 2nd largest city in the state submitted their resignation a couple of weeks ago. My main location in South Burlington is the 4th largest city and again I am the only FTD florist outside a grocery store. Due to 19 payments left on Mercury my hands are tied for about the next 18 months but we are shooting more and more of our own photos so that we can remove all wire service images from our web site its no longer an if with us its just a matter of when. A siide note we only have 63 florist left in the entire state of Vermont at this point and I would guess that half do not belong to a wire service.
