FTD answers my post about "Open Order Policy"

This post originally said FTD did not answer my post, but Clark pointed out that they had...I just did not see it....... See below for more details........and thanks, Clark for minimizing my embarassment!

Thanks to Clark for waking me up! I did not scroll back to the original post on the FTD Board but to the follow-up. And Ryan's automatic notification on this board of a reply to my post by Clark alerted me to correct this immediately.....so sorry to FTD for saying they did not reply when in fact they did.... and I would say within a "reasonable" length of time.

AND THE ANSWER IS....

There still is an "open order" policy permitted the day before a holiday. Filler must try to give the first choice, but if it is impossible they may substitute an appropriate item for the occasion. Responsibility falls to the sender to explain to the sending customer what an "open order" is, and that that is how the order might be filled.

This is a "filler-friendly" policy... and a good thing, in my view.
The answer I was looking for.
