Received an order from FTD.com yesterday for delivery. Recipient not home yesterday. Left tag..husband picks up this a.m.
Get a phone call ID states Oregon and #...girl says I'm calling from FTD.COM can you assist with a delivery confirmation? I then told her about recipient..card left..husband picked up. Thanks conversation over.
Oregon?? Reverse phone listings show number owned by National Flora, Oregon. Guess I'm gonna have another one for the FBC this weekend.
AND will look way more closely at any .com orders I get from now on.
Even though National Flora is owned by FTD.COM, they used to come through as National Flora not .com.

I don't understand the difference. They are both FTD.com there is no difference to my knowledge anymore, it is just another call center location for FTD.com. I might be wrong but as far as I know there really has been no National Flora for a couple of years now.

I have an answer. This call center is right across the street from Costco in Medford Oregon, 15 miles from where I live.

The original OG, like 10 years ago, I think was National Flora. A young guy about my age came up with a great idea. He raised 1 million dollars to be the first companies to place a 1 page add in most Yellow page books. He started getting really busy and higher John Caruthers, now the owner of Floral Source, and past President of VNS and Redbook, to move up from California and run the business. (John now runs Floral Source in my area, been there a couple of times).

So National Flora sold their business to Gerald Stevens for 33 million or something close. G&S went out of business and sold their operation there to FTD for really cheap.

So your phone company needs to update their record; that was a long time ago. :)

I teach HS at night for unfortunate HS students and have had a few of them work at this call center and I get all the inside news from my students who have worked their. One student who worked there over Christmas Break said to me, you’d be surprised at how many customers call who were mad about the arrangement that was sent... i told her, no I'm not surprised at all.

So a lesson here is.... some of you post online articles that show unhappy customers with Proflowers and how flowers in a box will never last, but I say to you... lets post all the unhappy customers that use a WS. And then I'd say go to epinions.com and bizrate.com and type in Proflowers and see what most people think about flowers in a box. Yeah I hate Proflowers more than anyone here, but let’s pull our head out of the sand and get real. Once you accept that, form a plan to kick their ass. :)
