Beware of Rip-Off on FTD Online Member Websites.

A customer called today and told us she was being charged $10 per month on her credit card for something called WLI Reservation . When she called her bank they told her the charge originated AT OUR FLORIST! She had ordered through FTD Online and had apparently checked the wrong box or clicked the wrong pop-up and got this monthly charge added to her credit card. Naturally ,I was furious our name was associated with these third party shenanigans. I called FTD and was shuffled around from Member services to FTD.com and back , but eventually got them to take the third party offers off our website.

So, if you use FTD Online , make sure you call FTD and complain!

I've got to ask, cause I'm on a roll today. Why would you stay with a vendor that would do that to a customer or to you? Why?

If it were up to me , I would have left FTD long ago .We have a 3 shop operation and the other store and office managers are old school and can't imagine leaving . I am out voted. I do what I can. I am happy that at least I found this forum where some others think as I do and I'm not just the crazy lady in the company ranting about the wire services.
 
Again Another opt out program by our famous Wire Services. Here in canada they can't no longer get you to sign up for anything unless they get your approval BEFORE.
No opting out programs are illegal with our ministry of commercial services.
If the shop did not sign themselve up, the wire service can't sign you up for it.

It is really deceiving and again the wire service get money month and month until a shop realize what is happening. Again shops who do not take the time to read the fine print or listen to the sale pitch and forgets to call in after their three months free membership to a program and they make mega $$$$$$$$$$$$.

I am also not picking on just one wire service, THEY ARE ALL LIKE THAT!!!!!!!

For the last 7 years all the old school florists in my area just can't figure out how I am still here. The only thing traditional at my shop are some of the same flowers used for many years. The thing my area florists do not get, is I only have to do 1 100% order to their 3 WS incoming orders, for the same(maybe profit). And since the WS only really needs these florists for holiday times, and since the daily stuff(WS incoming) has decreased now, it is making it real tough for them to make any money. So my 100% is the only percentage I like to work with.

You are with some great crazy florists here.
