FTD " Freakin Terrible Disgrace "
I am involved in a dispute with FTD about their problems with the computers on VDay...did anyone else have problems? I lost 135 orders because the computers were down, thanks to FTD....we are considering a class action suit against them
Though I have been otherwise involved most of the last few weeks and have had very little time to catch up on my growing to-do list, ( Sorry all ), I thought it appropriate to briefly throw in an opinion.
First, read back through the numerous and sometimes lengthy posts on V Day and it's aftermath to get a better idea on what's been tossed around here. Many opinions.
It's going to take a while but will be well worth it.
Second, Re-evaluate your association with them before you act/react.
Do you really need them? Your answer will seriously effect the future.
Third Class Action May or may not produce for you, however, a carefully handled public lead in ( via media & newspapers, Attorney General ) to a potential class action, on a national level, could work to everyones advantage. Note however that I emphasize the word " careful ".
Getting a large enough group to back it will be very difficult, which is why, in part, ManorMan has been somewhat quiet lately, gathering my eggs and chickens.
Fourth Yup, I've got some
serious issues with FTD and Teleflora.
Fifth Convincing the consumer that they do not need a highly compensated middleman is the first step at surviving what appears to be the future if nothing is done now to correct it.

We can't stop thanking the brain behind the site.
Finally Never underestimate the power of a small group. Just because the opponent is bigger, doesn't mean the underdog isn't smarter.
.................and tread carefully as there are definitely sharks in the water.

.................................which is why calls were made again today.
