Here's some info on the new program:

FTD Customer Choice Program

FTD knows that customers want to view the exact item they are purchasing. FTD.com will be featuring images of florist-filled arrangement upgrades. The ability to view the upgrade possibilities will make it more likely for customers to choose higher price-point items.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

* Customers go to FTD.com and begin shopping.
* When a Customer Choice Program arrangement is selected, the shopper can scroll over the three price point categories - STANDARD, DELUXE AND PREMIUM - and see a photo of each arrangement based on the upgraded pricing.
* By seeing how an extra $10 or $25 will upgrade an arrangement, customers can easily see the increased value of spending more on the order.
* Fill the orders based on the recipes provided below, and in your Mercury message, for the three different price-point categories.

well, it's a good start but they still are showing mostly one sided (or 3 sided if you prefer) designs - all the flowers to the front, still misleading pictures but it's a start?

Nice idea...gotta steal it.

Scam!

Rhonda...maybe they'll add 3-D imagery some day.... no probably not, that would kill sales ;)

we make all the ftd.com's orders as shown 3 sided and close as possible.. the 2nd choice is "same feeling" can't get many complaints about that open end choice. I dont sub gerbs with carns but i also dont overstuff .. make not of the diminsionsn and lack of greens.
I make spread out and give it a real designer look not a "drop and deliver look" as most of the FTD.com look like which I feel have been designed to make it easier for the grocery store employees to make.
