Just download my December statement.
Got charged $35.00 legacy fee. Called FTD and was told that it was a charge as I did not have the current equipment (don't know what that is as I'm on Advantage)
Also they have increased the network service fee by $5.00 to a total of $84.00 monthly. FTD said a letter was sent out; never got one.
Check your statement closely.

It means your still on Advantage and they are starting to charge for keeping Advantage.
 
Go Independent

Look at an independent POS system. I use FAS. I'm not pusihing FAS, but what I am saying is that I have had the system for over 12 years now an while I've made hardware updates to stay current, I never have to worry about stupid fees like what FTD puts on their florists.

I know there are other independent POS systems which are good too. The biggest benefit of having an independent system is you owe the wire services nothing. You can leave, switch and run your business as you please not how they tell you.

And to put that legecy fee in a different light. Would you put a special fee on the orders of your customers that have been with you the longest? FTD is actually charging you more because you have been a customer of theirs for too long.
 
Louis, Back on the October FTD statement, in teeny-tiny print, they mentioned that the network service fee will go up. They also mentioned that FAH will now charge 79 cents for each call they answer on our behalf that does not result in a sale.

We are now re-evaluating the cost-benefit of having FAH. If FTD keeps up with the fee increases, we will re-evaluate the cost-benefit of having FTD too!

And they know that you'll either pay the TAX, or switch, and they're standing ready to switch you to Mercury and bump your rebate to **supposedly** pay for it.

FTD is playing the old shell game. They play with their fees, to force you to buy new. The game plan for FTD is to make sure every florist is ALWAYS paying for a POS system. The one thing FTD is not is stupid. They create the POS system. They finance the POS system. This locks you to their wire service and all the bull@@@@ fees they dream up. Then when the day comes you pay for their POS system, they tell you it's outdated and that either you continue to pay them another fees or buy another of their over priced systems. And so the game continues.

What is truly amazing is that so many florists don't catch on.

If they can't make a profit from THEIR CUSTOMERS then, they intend to make a profit from THEIR OTHER CUSTOMERS, I.E. YOU!

Just noticed that charge also Frank. Over $50 for December. Told them I was now shopping for an answering machine.

Crikey this Flowers all Hours is something that has just been trialled over here, and is now being rolled out through membership,little do these members who have chosen to sign up know what lies ahead,cause if its happened to you guys its gonna happen to our guys sooner rather than later, as its all about the money just like TOTO SAYS...

WOW, 50 bucks, for you to not even get an order...I would give them the axe too...Does FAH screw up as many orders as TF 24hr flowers??? If so, it ain't worth that kind of cake....

Actually, the newer meaning to the old acronym translates to: ( F ) ailure ( T ) o ( D ) eliver
 
Well guys check out your FTO if you cancle an order or Rej you pay $ 1.50 per order Cancled and also you pay for every order received it use to be $1.00 the up the price.
FTD is not for the florist you can dispute the FTO for all your Cancled or Rej Order must of them are Codified Product you do not have and Below Min .
