First, if you're looking for your delcon "credits", they are in section "G" of your clearinghouse statements under "Mercury Charges",and DO take this time to scrutinize your delcon "performances on this FIRST statement!!
Be wary of late confirm" charges, as there are "flaws" in the system.
1) IF you confirm "too early" in other words, if you receive an order on January 8, for delivery on January 10th,and for whatever reasons, you are asked by phone by the sending shop, or the recipient, to send it on Januray 9th, and you CONFIRM delivery on the 9th, you WILL BE ASSESSED the "late con" fee...
2) Also, with this most current MercDirect update Version 4.6.1,Ver 7, you CAN now change delivery dates in "ask/ans" messages, which MUST be done at BOTH the sending AND receiving end which was NOT possible with the version of MercDirect that was previous to this one.

Has FTD ever actually been in a flower shop before? Most shops, especially in this recession, do not have enough staff to keep up with all this stuff. They continue to prove themselves unworthy of my participation and I am glad I am FTD free and counting the days until I am TF free too!

I spoke with two friends last week, both owners considered FTD 'lifers' - 45 years and 30 years respectively - both American's Cup national finalists, and both have quit as of this month.

FTD is bleeding its very lifeblood as the florists' florists leave the pack.

I'll not name names here, but both owners would be very well now to many FC members.

(this post was to the comment "has FTD ever been in a shop before")

Not sure why my quote didn't appear... Darn gremlins...

That's debatable. While they DO visit you, it's all in if they actually LISTEN to you.

The same holds true for all the wire services with order gathering web sites. Opinions vary...

The one thing I see FTD "bleeding" is our costs. Getting crazy with the nickel and dime stuff...
