and so what else is new??? It's always that way until the day before the holiday and then geezzz.........it's "same day delivery" prominance........ Yes, I believe your rep is my rep? Don't bother to complain either.......he's into two word sentences for replies to emails (and doesn't understand clearinghouse statements either) 
"Please don't pay attention to our claim of sending 25% more orders to local florists, look at what we're actually marketing to consumers" 1)
1) You'll see a 25% increase when it's too late to put it in a box and send it FedEx. Thank goodness florists have so much excess capacity.

Should be better but why? Until Cannabis becomes legal I don't think fathers will be expecting any colorful buds for the big day.

I think in 25 years, I have seen as many as 15 father's day orders and that was when I worked for a shop that usually sold thousands of arrangements at other holidays....if they don't have the volume, we can sure as hell not expect volume...I am not even sure we could promote enough to grab Father's day sales, Here the outdoor yard market has it all tied up, yard tools, bbq accessories, outdoor relaxation, etc...

Like Clay said, gift baskets with BBQ or junk food. The trick is getting someone to think of going to your site, e-mail blast I suppose.
