Word has it that Brenda Robertson is leaving FTD.com at the end of the month...she will be missed. Love dotcom or hate it...she is a woman of principle, honest, friend to Florists and I guess it just does not fit anymore. Heard she is leaving of her own accord....Brenda, you will be missed.....any major corp will be fortunate to have you on board!

Re: Yes, Brenda always had OUR ACT together!

Brenda Robertson, like many other really great employees at INC, always had OUR ACT together.

She had wonderful attributes in her ability to SOLVE most every problem which originated at the 800-SEND or DOT.CON beginning of the order spectrum.

In fact, Linda would ONLY SPEAK to BRENDA when there was a problem with a DOT.CON order knowing that, BRENDA would get the proper fix in to enable us to fill it.

Of course, the caliber of their orders deteriorated due to the DOT.CON price wars, for which, Brenda had no control.

Even though we parted company with INC in 2001 and after 31years (20 as an ONLY!) for obvious reasons, we always loved Brenda and kept in touch through mutual friends.

They have LOST, YET ANOTHER JEWEL and the lovely Linda and I wish her the best of everything in the years to come.

Brenda always reminded mee of Hazel Hunter in the OLD A as Hazel would always SOLVE EVERY PROBLEM between florists as she handled the customer service department back in the day. One statement which Hazel made back in the day still sticks with mee till today.

" The New Yorkers are a tough bunch, but at least with the New York Florists, I always knew where I stood! "

people DO "retire"....

from time to time John......
More to the point...I personally miss Jim Jordan, and Bill Schodowski, and Bob Norton, and others that I had the good fortune of crossing paths from within FTD, and yes, we will ALL miss Brenda, BUT, there ALSO was a time when "contributing to change" was frowned upon since we ALL thought nothing would ever change!!
