FTD members need to update their delivery charges for the upcoming directory. Wheather You agree or not, this needs to be done. If you don't, your delivery will be shown as "Includes Delivery" and filling florist will have no idea you charge a delivery charge. This will make for misunderstandings on both sides and that is not good for any of the Real Florist on this Board. Hope everyone has a great day.....

Yes I would recomend everyone do this as well... especially if you still have ASB lisitings...

Lets see, everyone call on Monday the 27th, at 2pm EST:ssmoke

I operate assuming that the filling florist WILL deduct his delivery charge in REAL dollars....

Ftd Statement Charges

We are in the process of dropping FTD, so we have been examining all charges on the statement with a fine tooth comb. Found a new one today, and it took a call to/from our field rep to clarify & get it reversed.

Look on your statement under the "other Services" section & look for charges for "s" additional listings & "e" additional listings. Even though I have been listed for only 1 town, we had advised FTD.com of several other towns we could deliver to. Beginning in November, 2005, FTD has now taken all those towns listed with FTD.com & is charging us for ALSO SERVED BY listings!!
I'm sure this could be lots of $$ for some people.

The hollering should start now.....this is very deceptive & sneaky. Just another FTD money grab.

Check your statements, and call today. You may have to go thru your FIELD REP also.

Back in the day....all codified product with a price listing was supposed to include delivery.

However, times change and it is reasonable to charge a delivery fee.

Wire services should just mandate a standard delivery fee for its florist to florist orders of, .... oh say.... $12.99 like they command on service fees of their .com orders.

Jeez......

what's so difficult in stating your delivery charges on your listings??
FTD/TF do this for FREE, they just want the INFO, and it's up TO YOU to decide what you require to complete the transaction!!
WHY do florists make this so difficult??
EVERYONE CALL on Monday the 27th @ 2:00 PM, and UPDATE YOUR LISTINGS to reflect the proper delivery charges....half an hour either way is ok too!!
