SO I played by the rules with my resignation and they are still screwing me around.
3 months after I sent my resignaton I should have been finish with them.
THat is what they told me.
So In April I started Not to send FTD, but be FTD receiving florist to bring my bill down.
May being my first month, I get a bill for April and I send payment in May.
June, Bill is less than $100.00 and send check in to cover what I owed them. At This point, from my Records I may have had maybe 1 phone in not reported yet on my statement. ALso during June, I sent in my Fleurin checks I had here to be redeemed.
I figured by July I would have my final bill, my credit for the fleurin andthose 1 phone ins left....
July nothing... Aug. nothing, so I phone and ask about the status. They told me I have a credit for around $23.00 for july but they are keeping it until begining of Sept. to send it. They said it 3 months after there is NO REPORTS that is why I would get my final bill.
I say to them fuc&ing BullShip. If I had a credit at any time, my money was in my account on the 25th of the month. I told them I was not happy with them. 3 months now have stretched to 5 months....
I guess being honest does not pay....
And they want me to accept them as sponsor for a northern show....
They still want me to accept FTD direct orders....
They are going to get a rude awakening real soon, when they least expect it....
I know $23.oo is not much, but I played thier games....now they are going to pay to be in my sand box.....

Yes, I played that game, too. When I left FTD in April of 2003 my last statement was a $95.00 credit. I kept calling as it seemed like it should have been here, ya know? I did finally get it in Sept. and they told me the same thing they told you about having to wait the three months blah blah blah. My last day was April 30, 2003 and received check at end of September 2003. Now is that three months on your calender? They really need to start telling people five months.

Now I am back with FTD as of last May 1st and left TF. My last bill was just under $1000.00 and I am paying them $50.00 a month until it is paid off. I'm not mad at them and I left on good terms, but I have to pick and choose which bills to pay as we can so paying TF in small amounts causes me the least consequences.

Ah, the wonderful world of floristry!

think about what you're saying first.....

most florists wait until the last moment to cancel their membership.
USUALLY, by that time, the pre-edited version of the membership list has already been composed, and usually, there are 2-3 months between new membership listings, and you're "asked" to continue filling and reporting during the final period, while still officially "listed".
Then, BECAUSE many florists fail to report incoming orders on a timely basis, credit to the sending florist would be lost , IF, you weren't held accountable for a period of time, after dropping.
The rules are pretty clear....2-3 months to "clear" your listing, and 2-3 months to clear your "potential" debt to the clearinghouse...all WS's use the same principle, ESPECIALLY when you are "quitting"
I've seeem BOTH wire services bend completely inside out, trying to "help" their members during times of stress, and burdens.
Many members "conveniently forget" when they hit "the wall" and needed help from their wire services...BOTH FTD and TF are equally compassionate A LOT MORE than many "holding" companies....

I SENT MY RESIGNATION Before the cut off date of March 8 to be effective for the next directory of May to July.
I have bent over backwards for them, and did what i was suppose to do.
I expect getting help form anyone I work with when I am honest and Up front.
I held my end of the bargain and they should hold their end. It's simple, after three months the relationship is over.
If I still owed them money , it would be different.
I like what Patty is doing, but why would you want to stretch it out that long?
This way they are off my back.
Gee I am not talking about thousand of dollars here, I am sure they got sticked with bigger than what I owed them.
I was just showing what is happening to me so other members who wants to leave FTD, know what to expect. It's that simple....
I know what I am saying, maybe it is you who don't listen....
