I have found that several O.G's. are listed in our local Yellow Pages with the FTD logo, but without their address and city of origin. FTD's Rule 2, Section E, states that each member must list their address and city of origin when using the FTD logo, even when advertizing outside their service area. I have asked FTD to challenge these O.G's. If you find the same thing in your Yellow Pages, you can email Bill Van Cleave, FTD VP Member Services. at [email protected] and express your fellings about FTD not requiring their rules be observed by every member. If more of us would complain, maybe they (FTD) might do something to help slow the O.G's.

WHat and Kick them out and also kick themselves in the butt....

They started to kick people out, they raised our hopes for a while but we have not heard of any one else being kicked out even if we find they are in violations of their rules including them.

Rod.... throw that rule book away....

The new one is only one page and it says THERE ARE NO RULES ANYMORE!

FTD is not going to do anything about it, at least not in a hurry if ever...right now they have ALOT bigger problems than a bunch of florists.

Have a prosperous holiday my friend, hope all is well!

At the OFC in October Mike Soenen stood in front of a room full of florists and promised to enforce the address rule. Unprompted, he addressed this issue, and now it's time we challenge him on it. Will he stand by his word or prove himself a liar? Time will tell ...

Sent him a certified letter asking him to honor his statement that if we were unhappy with his technology he would buy it back. NO ANSWER! Spent Hours in Dallas with promises of fixes, they were not in 9.2 as promised.

Phone calls to the Technology team are mostly ignored, so are letters.

Ahh ole P.T. was right...there *is* one born every minute, and it seems a lot of them are becoming florists these days...

Welcome to the world of Corprospeak, where one day your manager is talking about increasing staff, and the next people are getting pink slips. Perhaps it is tough for you who haven't spent years in the trenches of Corporate America to understand, but this sort of glad-handling, back-stabbing is the modus operandi of Big Business. These executives have reached their positions of power and financial excessby showing their ability to fool those who need to be fooled to those who have the power to move along their careers. You are either in on the game or being run over by it.

It's like politicians...they say whatever they need to to whatever group to placate the weak-minded and uninformed, and change the message the next day. People either refuse to see the hypocrisy of it all or are just too gullible to understand how manipulated they are being, and seem to fall for the same line over and over and over and over...

Keep sending those certified letters and believing those "rah-rah" TFTD conventions, perhaps Santa will get the Easter Bunny to deliver golden eggs to your shop...

He did indeed.....

He has bigger problems to deal with right now....least of which is standing in front of a lot of loyal florists...we have much work to do!!

Hate to say it, but there will not be either...bugs yes, but fixes...not from what I have been told...

9.2 fixed a couple little things, but word is, it is the LAST...Merc8 will be coming out late next year.
