Well, I did not register for any of this, but I did take advantage of their cheaper blocked rooms at the very nice Renaissance Dallas Hotel......and I just got this a couple of minutes agouke:

Please be aware that all reservations associated with this group rooms block has been cancelled.

Oh my Clay, you received the notification from the hotel....

Me thinks this new owner is going to run ftd into the ground.
He obviously doesn't care about his florist, and cancelling the event looks like a money savings idea.

So glad I got out when I did.:bangles:

When I logged onto FTDI.com, it still has fancy graphic image showing Vegas is still on....the a type written line in red saying that the Dallas Show has been canceled.


I called the hotel, and they were very nice.....rebooked me at the FTD rate. I asked the girl how many this cancellation affected, she said 4 others....as in FOUR.


So Ted, if this is any indicator of things to come....Vegas might be cancelled at the last minute as well.
