I ask you...why do you belong??
Blue Mikey would say "dump" them all!!
Why is it I cannot say the same!!
Somehow FTD still means something to me, and to many like me!
I want to sing a song, about how FTD has enabled me to meet, greet, and get to know and love the people in this business.
I want to scream when FTD won't listen, I wish bad things would happen to some little parts of the organization, I tell them that I make the "rules" in my business, yet, FTD is fair with me, and I treat FTD as a partner, NOT a taskmaster!
I have supported FTD through thick and thin, sometimes I thought I was alone, and in return, FTD has helped me take care of things that I could NOT do myself.
I found new friends in Frank, Tim, Caroline, and other Canadian FBC's
I found new ways to appreciate what they and FTD do for ME, and my fellow FTD florists, leading is not easy, taking flak without flakjackets.
I have to trust my gut instinct about what FTD is up to, I have to understand why some things are as they are!
NO NEED to get upset over FTD OG's...just REJect.....the message WILL BE absorbed sooner or later.
My friends are my friends...FTD or NO FTD(TF)

( Mikey is dreamtalking)

Just reading a little between the lines, you had alot of warm and fuzzy reasons why you WANT to stay. Do you NEED to stay, only your bottom line will tell. My time was better spent on my business, not reconcilling their statements for them, triaging orders, giving up my profits to feel warm and fuzzy.

If I invested 1000$ on an advertiser, I would expect 3000$ in return. And that was not happenin for me neither. Call me Blue Jerry, drop them all.

It's sad to see that corperate greed has replaced the creed that FTD was founded on.

I still have hope that someday they will see the errors of their ways, and return to that which got them here.... Real Florists...

(Mikey's dreams must be teleconnectic)

zThe services are charging themselfs out of the market. Especially for the return on investment..

The wire services began because there was a communication gap between the consumer and the provider of the service. A bridge that carried the weight of expensive transmission costs.

Today, that bridge, is the gap between the consumer and the provider. It got in its own way. And charges dearly for getting out of the way when crossing it.

Rights of free passage comes from 3 things.

1. Removing the right of passage to some(refusing to fill)

2. Providing the proper escort when crossing(when we need to do it)

3. teaching the consumer about the free flights over the bridge.

Lets face it. The wire services and OGs didn't build a new brider here. They just gave it a new coat of paint and place armed guards at either end. Shaking down anyone willing to cross.
