Tonight FTD was advertising on the same LA station (KFI) that used to flack for PF, especially during drive time. One of hosts talked about how fresh the flowers were from FTD.com and how the last roses he sent lasted more than 2 weeks.

He was promoting a V-Day Special - 18 roses for $39.95 and a free vase.

Anybody got an FTD frozen rose video hanging around?

No but it should not be too hard to make one.... order, have delivered to Northern Maine to someone we know won;t be home, and <click>[action!].

Temperatures are going to drop like a rock tonight in Southern Maine, I would expect Northern Maine would be even colder....brrrr.....

Don't you just hate it when people aren't home to recieve their lovely gift of flowers? :)

Doesn't surprise me, have you guys noticed how similar PF and FTD are becoming? Look at their websites! Both have the same general layout, both have the hear us on the radio, and both screw over florists. Something seems fishy out there.
 
This might be a GREAT time for a "group" buy on FTD's product.

think about this for a moment.

What if all of us would buy their online product? We need to send the order to our homes on Valentine's Day. When we arrive home at say 6 or 7 pm and see a box of flowers outside, prefereably in a solid state, video tape, blog it, and/or broadcast anyother way possible the results of having FTD delivered roses drop shipped to your door.

This would work for PF as well.

Imagine several hundred negative FTD flower blogs, you-tubes etc.

any takers?????

FTD really doesn't understand the long term ramifications of the short term for profit goals.

We'll have a new video, maybe today....

Then it'll be time to write it up, post it up, blog it and move on.... remember folks, that for it to gain weight and speed we need to all use the same anchor text (still undecided) and then write similar but different posts...
