Looking for suggestions. Request was for a traditional spray with the Texas flag. I liked it, but didn't love it. It's missing that something special... Any ideas for achieving more "WOW factor" Got photos to share?

Sweet, I like the flag draped and I like that you have a "star" shape started with the backround greenery.
I think maybe in your design the red flowers are competing with the flag, and the focal point kind of gets lost, so the draped idea would be cool with the star shape in the greenery emphasized.

What if you 'flag folded' the flag.. you know into that triaganal shape..does the star then stand out more so it will show better??

I think it really depends on what you charged for the piece. For me the flag seems to be lost in the background and the star on the flag doesn't show as well as I think it should.
