I didn't know if I should post this under the general chat, but I decided to post it here since it deals more directly with running your business and more specifically your online presence.

This is a speech Gary Vaynerchuk (Gary Vee) gave at this years blogExpo.

Gary Vee is really big on the web. For those who don't know about him...
He grew up in NJ where his parents ran a wine store called the Wine Library. Gary eventually took over the Wine Library from his parents growing it from a X to XX million in a matter of years. In the process he turned Wine Library into the biggest wine destination on the web.

Additionally he started a video podcast - out of passion - called WineLibrary TV. The podcast is now one of the most popular video podcasts on the internet with EACH episode (they are daily 5 days a week) getting over 80,000 viewers (thats a ridiculous amount).

IMO he is one of the few people out there that "get it" when it comes to being successful - specially on the internet.

I find him pretty motivational. Anyways, view for yourself. Enjoy.

amazing.....

I have to admit, I was skeptical when I watched. You nailed it. This guy is the future of the web world.

I only dream of the passion he has, and long for it in what we do.

Thank you,
Keith

I was moved by one of his vblogs a year ago or so and he asked how he could help. I sent him an email, twice, for some advice and never got a reply. I was and still a little hurt, but I am sure he was too busy and didn't 'really' know how many people would ask him for advice.

He is very charismatic and knows his stuff that is for sure, that's why i still follow him on Twitter.

I saw the the Austin meet-up pics/videos at TC Jared, did you go? :)

It's nice to hear him speak highly of twitter. :) I was the first florist in the world to use it on my web page. (that's why I have twitter.com/florist)

My poshcircle idea, well the chit chat part, is a niche style twitter, and is where I predicted twitter to go awhile ago... and look who won the TC50 this year... a niche twitter type business yammer.com. BOOM!

I do disagree with him when he says 'word of mouth' is the most powerful sale for your business...my opinion is, in our industry, your product, especially there are a million combinations.
