Gerbera Daisy Bridal Bouquets

I was wondering what everyone else charges fo a 8 to 10 inch bridal bouquet clutch of assorted Gerbera daisies, Also for a simple bridesmaid clutch of 3 gerbera daisies. I know they are a little harder to work with, more labor, a local florist in my area charges $3.00 retail for each gerbera and adds $1.50 per flower to arrange it in a bridal bouquet???????????????? I would loose a lot of money doing it this way, I only purchase the premiun large Canadian Gerberas. Any info would be great. Thanks

I'm pretty much the same as your local comp. I pay on average .90 per gerb, so $3.00 retail plus 10.00 to 15.00 more depending on ribbon treatment and accents.

$3.50 each + $10 - $15.00 and $4-5 for ribbon

Same here, my loose stem is 3.50 and always charge $10 for labor plus ribbon and usually a few stems of lily grass in loops. The bride's bouquet would probably be $20 for labor if she wants 10 stems.

I have no problem with what others charge.... for they know best what their stuff is worth~!

Thanks for the info,I usually have to order extra gerbs to make sure they are perfect. I was glad to hear you charged for labor, gerbs can have a mind of thier own when you work with them, takes a little longer than the basic all rose bouquet. We also include a basic bouquet vase with the bouquet, it makes it handy for the bouquets to be delivered, and nice to have for display at the reception. Thanks again
