Just got a call from getflowers in LA. She assured me they are a "real florist" with several locations. This is on their website "WARNING!!!" almost all florists other than get flowers.com add an extra fee to your order. They don't disclose it to you until you are about to pay for your order. They usually call this a service charge, handling fee, relay charge or a transmission fee. We don't charge any of those fees, so the price shown on our site is the final price that you pay!

I see they are an affiliate of teleflora.
At least they have a little disclaimer that the flower pics are "examples"
I see their main office s in Beaverton, Or. - Keith, is there anything you'ld like to tell us? just kidding don't kill me!
 
They used to have 2 retail locations I don't believe they have any longer, in Sacramento and Los Angeles(red Lily) they also own cheapflowers.com and many many many others

Some of the members here will remember that name from a couple years ago, when they were here trying to get us to sign-on... Russians I believe, with ties to smut and stuff... at the time the guy I was talking to was in Philly if I remember right.... Impulse Communications rings a bell
 
I'm always suspicious when the callers english is - well lets just say not very english. I know that sounds prejudice but no disrespect intended.
 
Impulse Communications is an internet marketing company. The owner used to run a very small flower shop in Huntington Beach CA but closed it years ago. All the orders for getflowers.com and cheapflowers.com (one of their other sites) are run through FSI. Did your order come through as TF? (It does look like the site uses old TF pics.)

AFAIK, they no longer have any flower shops.
 
No, it was a phone call. We are wire service free and I don't fill for order gathers. It was for a town 15 miles away, I didn't ask price or anything else before saying no we don't fill for ordergatherers. She had to repeat get flowers 3 times before I understood her.
