We are all getting ready for two full hours of "24" tonight and another two full hours tomorrow night. Season 5 starts LARGE.

We crammed a review of Season 4 into the last week and a bit just to prime the pump.

Go get "em" Jack and company.

I will work until 5:00 tonight go home walk the dogs, eat dinner and then couch potatoe time.

Going off com now,

Doug

so what did you "think" of Jack.....

when he promised to take the injured "terrorist" to hospital IF said terrorist revealed certain info, then shot him in the head after gaining such info??....in FRONT of a former CTU agent and her son??

Wasn't her son - was the girlfriend's son.

To be fair, this was after the guy admitted to shooting his good friend, Palmer. A single head-shot was rather merciful, versus a slow gut-shot wound. Most painful way to die from a gunshot, so I'm told.

In the course of this series, Jack Bauer has done a hell of a lot worse than lie to a political assassin. One of the reoccurring themes in this show tends to be that some times people have to do very bad things to defend the country.

We love 24 and have made it a ritual at our house. Last night there was something pretty corny imo.

When Jack was on the cell phone in the airport, as the terrorist held the phone up to his ear, he was talking to CTU telling them how the plan had change and he said something like.. " and my position is a code 2" or whatever. Don't ya think if you were the main terrorist and he spoke to CTU in "code" and about his position, it would of raised a small red flag? I would of blown his head off when he hung up the phone. But then again, it's Jack!

Also, what happen to Chloe's kid? And doesn't anyone else laugh when she bosses Edgar around? I do. lol But it did break my heart when Edgar found out that she was seeing that guy. That was pitiful.

1) It was "I'm in a Flank 2 position, don't get me in the crossfire." It was a duress code masked as a statement of position so the incoming troops would know where to expect him.

2) Chloe never had a kid. It was Chase's daughter. Chase & Kim left CTU to raise her together.

3) Edgar is awesome :>

Ryan

Oh yeah, it wasn't Chole's daughter, she was just helping hide her. :)

And either way, if I were the bad guy and he talked in a code that sounded fishy, I would of wasted him or at least given him a good wedgie.

Poor Edgar. Did you see his heart break when he found out the other guy had been with Chole?
