Getting some weird referral info

I was just looking at my TF referall info and am finding the usual suspects of google, live search, flowerchat, facebook, etc..

I have found two that concern me and am afraid to go to the websites to see if it is for real....

slutshq.com and jollysailors.com

Why would people find me from these sites???

Or is this some sort of known problem or something I am missing...
 
Are you running any PPC or promotional campaigns?

Neither of those sites are "live" they just show revolving web search results from google.

Nothing to worry about...I'll bet the person searching was shocked to see a florist's website when they clicked the link ;)

I've been wrong before but, that's usually the case when I see a weird referring link.

Then, it's probably one of those sites with nothing but links. I also don't think the "click" was made by a human.

Take a look at this site: http://simplyjoyous.com

We get referrals from this site from time to time. How do I know no human is actually clicking a link to our site? Because the "person" who came to our site through simplyjoyous.com spends zero second in our site, every time.

I get this kind of referrals from about 10 other sites per month on average.

Yeah, I have about 15-20 site that I get one hit from a month or so, but they are actual sites that link to us...I couldn't find links to us from these and the slut one made me real nervous...but as long as I am the only one seeing it I don't care...

Common mistake - you don't know how long they stayed on your site. Could have been hours :)

What you do know is that they didn't go to another page.

Time on page is calculated by the time between actions

0:00 - Arrive at home page
0:21 - Click on V-Day article
1:15 - Click on link to V-day items
1:45 - Click on item
2:01 - Back to category page
...

This would show as a visit of 2:01 - but you never know how long they spent on the last page.
