Today we had 2 funerals to be ready for noon. A retired Florist who has helped over the years . but can't now as she has eye disease that prevents her from doing many things calls this am says are you busy . ummm no why , well i tripped and fell and heard something pop in my lower back. Ok what do you need , could you come and get my Tylenol its in the back bathroom. Her Hubby was on his way to the city for bone marrow test to see aht form of cancer he has. So i whipped out and she is in chair , can't get up, grab the tylenol and water take to her and said i have to get back but i will be back. So i get here we have to run a delivery and told Lori stop at her retied Doc's house and see if he is there and if he can go check on her. He isnt but his wife is she goes right over and waits till Doc gets home. He then comes to check on her , thank god nothing is broken pulled muscles . So grab a fresh bouquet and take it out to the house for them as they made it a whole lot easier to get our work done without having to worry about her. Just checked on her and she is going to see her hubby in the Hosp, but her driver is gonna stay right with her!! Told her i have 2 walkers and a chair for the tub, she is gonna take a walker and the chair,I picked them up a lawn sales for 10.00 each. Best investment i have made yet!
My Mom and Friend and Mother in law have all used them

So give me a small town filled with love and kindness anyday!

I couldn't agree more!
When I first opened up, I would walk to the local diner down the street to pick up lunch, and if some one came into the shop, they knew I'd be back in 5 minutes or less...no worries.
One Sunday someone broke into the shop...they didn't take anything...just looked around and took a bouquet to a friend. But that afternoon, when the other flower shop in town heard that someone had been in my store when she knew I was closed, she called me at home to see if everything was ok. I still didn't know anything about it!
Another time I lost my wallet one day and got all panicked and cancelled all the ids and credit cards etc. Found it the next day on a phone box...all the credit cards, ids, and money intact. Nothing stolen...
I love my small home town too!!!
