I have a customer that brought me about 20 stems of flowers made out of glass. They are about 12 inches long with the flower at the top. She wants me to do something with them. Do any of you have ideas on this? Her decor is traditional.

I can see lots of way to use them in a contemporary setting, but, traditional is not coming to me, yet.

I don't have any pics, sorry. They are multicolored with a lots of purples, blues, golds, red, etc. They are really lovely and looked to be handblown.

I really am stumped on this one. It seems that adding any permanent botanicals would take away from them....but, maybe not.

I probably would not even arrange them in anything in my house, but, use them laying down to accent other factors.

I would use some foiliages at the base but would also try to incorporate some kind of very soft lighting in the base to highlight the coloured glass flowers.

How about those glass ice cubes in a vase..With the idea of the light at the bottom to light up everything, I think it would be nice.

Thanks for your suggestions. I like the idea of adding light from the bottom. I may experiment with that. Colored or clear marbles could work like the ice cubes that were suggested also. I will let you know how it turned out. I have to do it tomorrow.

Wildflower, that is exactly what they are. I personally would use them in glass vases for myself....but, was trying for a different look for this customer since she has so many. Thanks for posting the photos.
