Can't let the day go by without a shout out for our beloved Packers!!! So excited about the game! The Packers are truly a special team...in a small market and owned by the city of Green Bay....the whole state has Packer Pride!!!

It should be a good game tomorrow!!

I am a Raiders girl myself- and I don't care what city they are based in- I love the Raiders! But for this superbowl- I'm rooting for the Steelers. Most of Donnies Family is Steelers fans and all of mine is Raiders.

I have been a Packers fan since the days of Vince Lombardi, as good as this game will be , the bookies are not at odds with a Steelers win........so, from MY vantage point, IF the Packers win, it'll be glorious, If the Steelers win......<ho hum>

As you all know I am in Ecuador. My parents recently moved here, so this was kind of important for us to get to see the SuperBowl here to help them not feel homesick. We are from NC, so we didn't really have a huge preference, but decided as a family to pull of the Packers as the Steelers just make us cringe. My husband (full Ecuadorian, all about futbol...soccer, knows very little about American football) made my dad a really cool cheese hat with foam and yellow paint! I think I loved him even more watching him try and make it a special game for my family! Mom and I worked all day making chicken wings and 7 layered mexican dip and other goodies for the game! It was like being at home! Only down side...NO COMMERCIALS!!!! We decided the Super Bowl without commercials is just another football game!!! We were very happy with the Packers win and I thought the half-time show was pretty good. I am not a huge black-eyed peas fan, but the show was cool and I didn't see anyones boobs!!!
