I hope. :)

After today I will no longer be a marathon virgin. This is the large goal I've been working towards... a 10K walk, run, jog, crawl... whatever it takes. Although I walk so much now, by the end of each normal day my pedometre is either at 10 or over. I'm enjoying this journey.

And by the way, I'm within 10 pounds of the ultimate goal. I'm HAPPY and not so Hippy.

I've learned more about me... and I'm proud. One foot infront of the other works. I'm home after completing the "race" in 1hr and 45 minutes.

I cried as I crossed the finish line, not out of pain, but out of joy at my new understanding of me and my inner strength.

Thanks Jeannie, Doug and Cathy. I send hugs and now I'm off to soak in the tub. ;)

P.S. The girls don't point anymore... :)

Saweet - may you insire a few others of us to get off our asses.

Congrats on your most recent accomplishments - truly something to be proud of!

tracy

my mom always said it's not polite to point, so your girls are just very well behaved :tongue

Thanks Jon, but I would be very concerned about getting you off your ass at the moment. You tend to sit it on a motorized bike. ;)

Now I need another goal as I've met all the ones I set out for myself at the beginning of this journey. I'm thinking about the 3 day walk for Breast Cancer next year. That's something to strive for and work toward.
