FlowerChat is closed to the Spiders and Bots...they can look but they can not see.

When we created the UK forums, the permissions we set for the rest of the site did not transfer correctly, so a small portion of that one days posts got spidered. It has been corrected.

Google searchable

For a florist looking to find a forum on a search engine, what about some sort of splash page that is Google searchable? This could be a page that gives a brief description or Mission Statement of FlowerChat.com and a link to click on FlowerChat.com to register. We have paid for an ad in a industry magazine, why would we not want to have some simple page be searchable for Google to capture florists Googleing "Florist Forum"? Just an idea.

Yep, like that! I guess I just assumed if your killed top rated UK post link, that there would be nothing. BTW, it is 2nd top rated for me, the tryblossoms.com (with a link to flowerchat.com) is number rated for me down here.

Different data centers offer different results.

Some of us have done searches using the same key words, at the same time while talking on the phone and have gotten varying results...just the way the web works...

Interesting thing coming down the pipe... Web 3.0 (got anything on that mark?) where they are working on technology to truly read pages, and offer results based on searches like : *low cost vacation home in winston-salem* that are designed to eliminate erroneous results.
