I also noticed that site did not get all the new machine-generated gray text keywords added below the fold on the home page, like most of the other TF templates sites have.

When I first open my store, I got a call from someone saying that my website wasn't working. I found out that it had not been working for 7 whole days. My husband Hit the roof. Now every time I open internet explorer it pops up. I have set my home page to it so I know what is going on with it when it changes etc etc. My husband said would you ever leave your store with the doors open and go on vacation for a week?? Then why do it with your website....He had a good point...
It's a very good idea to sign up for website monitoring. Google free web monitoring and there are several services that cost you nothing for hourly or so checks, which email you if you're down.
When you request an addition to your web page, it remains until you request it's removal. Undoubtedly that is what this florist did and hasn't taken a look since.
