So has anyone seen this movie yet? It's rated R, so even though it looks really good I'm hesitant about taking a younger person with me to see it.

is it full of language? or what ..

Define young person, please. Would I take my 9 year old or 4 year olds...definitely not. Maybe a 13 year old...reason being there is so much more in there regarding morals and character than the language...one has to look past it to see it for the truly amazing movie that it is. I absolutely LOVED it!

i don't think this movie is appropriate for young children. aileen is right maybe a 13 year old.
this movie is a good character study of human behavior regarding race and values. very thought provoking movie.

This is one of my want to see, glad to hear it's good. I hate when the preview is the best the movie has to offer. It makes me want to say " I shaved my legs for this"hEhe
Other wise the pop-corn and candy was the best part of the movie, and I want my money BACK!

We LOVED this MOVIE!

Anyone who loves Clint Eastwood would love this movie too.

It's a great observation of HUMAN BEHAVIOR as the character Clint portrays, Walt Kowalski, is a Disgruntled Korean War vet.

And, low and behold, a Korean family moves right next door to him.

The funny part is when they COOK their DELICIOUS FOOD, (did I say that, we love Korean food?) and at first, he refuses to endulge. Finally, and when he runs out of beer, and gets an invite, it's only then that, he goes next door to embibe, only to finally sample their great cooking.

In the end, his VALOR prevails, as he chooses to defend the oppressed, which overcomes his preconceived notions (not racism) of what other human beings, like members of his own family, shouldn't have to endure from other predators living in our society.

I won't spoil the ending, but it could bring a tear to your eyes.

We gave this movie 4 STARS and it's a must see, but for ages of 13 and older, to be sure!

Its a great movie, for 13+! And its a Hmong family not Korean. Not that that is important because its the message reallly. The main Hmong character Tao is from our hood here in Minnesota. Its 4 stars for sure.
