I' m Nancy Butts and I am the second generation of Burgett Floral which, hopefully, will survive for the
third generation. I am the on-site, non-designing owner
who handles bookwork, buying, marketing, etc. and trying
to keep up with the 21st. century. We are located in Grand Rapids, MI, and have 3600 square foot retail store.
I am a Michigan Certified Florist and enjoy volunteering
for the Michigan Floral Association and our local floral groups.
I have years of experience but would really like to share
the new ideas now available with the internet technology.
 
Wecome Nancy, Grand Rapids is only about 2 hrs. north of me. I'm in the upper northwest corner of Indiana. Some day I'm gonna check out all you Michigan Florist! There are quite a few on this site that seem to know what they're doing.

Nancy does have granddaughters with names like Lily and Rose tho. :)

And Yes I can attest Nancy is great at sharing her experience and has a good shoulder to lament upon. my BFF :)

I haven't been in a long time. Its a very crowded event and lots of blue blue hairs on tour buses.

I have ventured over to view the tulips after the festival. Many of the streets and parks in Holland are all planted with tulips. They plant all types of varieties with different flowering dates so you can just stop, walk around town, have a bite to eat and enjoy the flowers. Without all the traffic.

I was outside cutting forsythia this morning and found I have daffodils and hyacinths blooming. Along with the hellebore. Spring is here. yeah!
