Green Tulips

I have a wedding in March, and they want loads of green Tulips. Or Light pink and green in the same tulip. I found a variety online called Deidre, but It is really hard to come by and I wont be able to get it. I have also seen Spring Green, but from what I have seen it is mostly white. When Spring Green is tight is it mostly green? (Before it really blooms?) Does anyone know of any other varieties of green tulips? Or light pink and green Tulips?

Many variety of parrot tulips have green on the outer petals- Super Parrot is white and green and Green Wave is pink and green. The problem you may run into with a March wedding, most parrots are later season varieties. You may see Super Parrott in March, again it is mainly white. Greenland, Spring Green, Green Wave and Deirdre are all late blooming varieties and will be tough to find in March. Check out the Dutch Flower council web site, you can select a month and see what varieties should be available. Combining green lisiathus or achemilla with pink or white tulips would give a very nice spring green effect too.

I've seen some green tulips from Holland, but I've sometimes seen them with a hint of pink in them. Those were called "Weber's Parrot". There's another variety I know called "Rai" that has a little lavender in it, but the tips are green.
Last year I ordered Weber's Parrot and it was green and white. It's the one in the attachement.

Has anyone heard this before? Sept. I had a 40th birthday party to book with me. Had to have 30 packs of purple tulips.
Three days before event I got 27 packs of pink & 3 lav.
Was told to cut them- let light get to them for 6 to 8 hours and then they'd be what I wanted, ya right. Thank you for flower spray, they got spray.
Really did turn out.Now have more gray than my mom, HA,HA

Don't ya just love it when the wholesalers do that to you? You ask for burgundy and they send you a hot pinkish/orange when you said NO orange. Gah, heart attack city for sure.
