About Me: My name is Jonathan and my business partner Jocelyn and I own A Symphony of Flowers. We have had our shop for three years, but have been operating as a home-based wedding florals business for a couple years before that. We have just purchased a building and now have a Design Center for a floral storage cooler and to do large arrangements for weddings and corporate events. We look forward to being a part of the discussion gorup.

Tracy,

Thanks for the greeting. I found out about this board from my mentor florist in La Jolla. He told me about florist detective, and one of the articles or something led me here. I probably will spend a lot of time being a sponge, and offer my 2 cents when I can. At the moment, I am debating which floral ribbon printer to use (Fiorella and the one that Flowerbuyer.com offers), so I will be focusing on that this week. It will be nice to meet everyone as I "draw from the well."

Thank you everyone for the welcomes, my wife would call this a warm fuzzy moment (she's also a 1st grade teacher). Tracy, I am looking at the threads as we speak, so thanks. Jonathon- replied to your message, let me know what you think. Actually, in case anyone wants to let me know which way to go, I was leaning towards Fiorella, but the elite ribbon one sounds like a good deal as well. My FTD rep (sorry, I am a newbie but I know how some feel about them) has one brand new that was returned (shop closed, so didn't need it) and is offering it to me for $600 (original price offered was $1000), with 0% financing over a 6 month period. I am thinking about jumping on it. Suggestions?
