I have been in the floral industry 36 years as a designer. 5 years ago I took the big leap I started my own shop from scratch. I have now won 2006 Peoples choice in Iowa, 2006 Designer of the Year In Iowa, 2007 Minnesota Florist Assoc. Designer of the Year & 2007 Iowa Florists Assoc. Premier Cup Winner. I believe that education is extremely important for all floral shops & passing that on to their customers. If you send out good quality fresh flowers & throw out the bad flowers, your customers will do repeat business with you. This forum looks like sounding board. Thanks for offering it.
