We did one that ran for 2 days. The majority of the people who have redeemed them spent a little over face value but not much. It did get people into the store but like the article says, I am afraid that they will not be back unless they get another deal. We also used our local paper to auction off an arrangement or plant valued at $25.00 a month for one year, we received advertising in exchange. Both of these people are asking when the next auction is. I would rather have them asking if they could purchase the service at full price. They LOVE it and rave about us to everyone, they have paid extra to have the items delivered but have never come in just to purchase outside of the $25.00 item. Now the subscriptions are up so I think we will offer them to buy the package at a small discount and give them 1 month free for every customer they refer to buy the package at full price. This way they are getting a deal and promoting our business for us. If they truly do love it as much as they say then buying it direct from us should not be an issue.
