Have had daily calls from this company asking for updated information. Have told them "find it on the web at my website - that is the correct info"......they keep talking I keep telling them do not call again. Today got the call, asked for a supervisor and was told "a supervisor can't help you, I must have this information." I again requested a supervisor and was told "no supervisor will talk to you, why do you want a supervisor".... when told I wanted the calls to stop NOW, I was rudely told that "You'll continue to get the calls until your information is updated"........ Told him that after I hung up on him, I was complaining to the FCC......... to which I immediately did........

If they call again, I'll ask again for a supervisor.......if I get the same rudeness, I'm going to ask even more questions telling them until I get all their correct information, I will keep asking the questions...... including their name, badge/service number, supervisor name, company they work for, phone for the company (that can be verified)........... once I get all that info, I'll talk to them the next time they call (After I've filed another complaint with the FCC with all the verified info on who is harrassing me)

I just tell them the business went bankrupt, and we just got this phone number LOL....

are these the people that ask if all your info is the same and get you saying yes 4-5 times, then ask who your are and if you lie and tell them a sales clerk they want to put you down as a manager, then they ant to send you a bill for something you have to opt out of...

If so they must be on a calling tear, because I got them yesterday!

You're being too polite. I suggest hanging up immediately, or lie. Don't give them the satisfaction of a conversation. If they insist, give them a fictitious name and address, make up a phone number, tell them you don't have a website - you use carrier pigeons, or you don't speak English - if you speak Farsi, even better. Ask for their credit card number and tell them you're going to charge them for the information. Tell them they've reached a mental hospital, you're in solitary confinement and you haven't been medicated. If you have caller ID, try to capture their number, then when they call back, give them totally different information. It might take a few calls, but I'll bet you get rid of them.

they just called again - asked to speak to a supervisor - put on "hold"...disconnected :)

When I get TM calls one way to deal with them is give them another number where they can reach "their party" ---1-800-382-1222, which is the support number for the donotcall.gov registry. Some of them get the idea pretty quick, others are often too stupid to get the message.

I feel particularly victorious when I get them to take the above number. I don't really know why, but I do get some satisfaction from it.
