The best birthday present would be gainful employment........preferably still inthis floral industry of which I love, the second best birthday present would be a hefty check from the attorneys.

Now, a funny little story - my 7 year old neice ( who is the apple of Uncle Ricky's eye and can do no wrong, ) asked me how I liked getting old. I told her - Shelby, Uncle Ricky is not old. MY body is ageing, but old is stale, rotten, smelly, and stinky. Uncle Ricky is not any of those things and he won't ever be.
The things that come out of children's mouths. of course, the best thing about being an uncle.....I can spoil her all I want, and then send her home to Mommy. And I do the same for my two nephews and my littlestand newest 7 month old baby neice.
