Thanks V, I will. Just wish is was a little cooler! First time since I remember that we were running the AC and cooking thanksgiving dinner in our summer clothes!
Am sitting here watching my hubby prepping everything....(he is the self proclaimed turkey-dude).......priceless!

Missy, last Thanksgiving was almost the same way. I was in Stratford having dinner at my brother's place. He bbqed the turkey (delicious) and we all ate out on the deck. We're doing the same thing this year. Only this time I'm prepared... I haven't put away the shorts, sandals and tees.

Well this THanksgiving will be more special for me.
This year we will be celebrating Jack arrival from the Heart Institute in Ottawa and we will be having thanksgiving dinner at his place. It is a pot luck THanksgiving meal, where we are all bringing a dish. I am bringing the stuffing.
I just finished it a little while ago, I have cooked these nice italien meat patties, after in the little bit of fat left over, I cooked onions, celeries for about 5 minutes, add mushroom and after that was cooked, I added again the sausage cut up this time, reheated everything with fresh cranberrries.
Took the misture, mixed it with sage breadcrum and added chicken broth and mixed together. Put it in a pan and now it is in the stove for about 1 hour.
Will let you know how it turned out.

By the way, I do most of the cooking at home. Debbie doesnt know much in the cooking dept.

Luc, that sounds yummy. I miss having stuffing like that.
Tomorrow is a potluck as well, with many pots being invited to the porch. My brother and his partner have many friends and most of whom come to this event. I'm earning my keep by doing the floral arrangements (when I get there) and bringing a fabulous squash recipe from my Boarding House Reach cookbook (from Georgia). I will allow myself some indugences tomorrow.
Alana is in Vegas, having a different form of indulgence this weekend.
