I'm drooling over all the turkey and mashed potatoes. I just went to a 'pick-your-own' apple orchard and I'm just waiting for my apple crisp to finish up!!
I love apple crisp! If the in-laws actually get a piece tonight, I'll be surprised

lil goldie is making me hungry ...... gobble, gobble

Have a Rockin' Thanksgiving !

I'm thankful EVERY day, when I awake, reach up, and DON'T hit wood!!
I have LOTS of thanks to give, and LOTS of friends AND family, to GIVE it to, so here goes.....
"Happy Thanksgiving".....decide whether you "want" it, do you "need" it, or do you "ALREADY HAVE" it......
Reach out and hug someone today, ANYONE, lottsa someones, tell them "thank you" for ALL that I am, and how I got here, and how heavily the burden held by turkeys REALLY IS.
I'm thankful, that turkeys DON'T run my part of the planet.
I'm thankful, that each step I take, I'm given the opportunity, AND privilege, to take another.
I'm thankful that my parents are still alive, I'm thankful that my entire family is doing well (now in the hundreds), my children and grandson are on the mend, and that we could help.
I'm thankful for the simple things, I'm thankful that I'm NOT complicated, I'm thankful for MY WIFE, and life partner, and symbiotic spirit, who "knows" how many moving parts need to work in me today!
I'm thankful that my large plumbing job DIDN'T leak yesterday, and I'm thankful, that a mother sparrow, and her offlings, are compelled to come roost INSIDE our shop, when the weather outside is frightful (still don't know how she does it)!
I'm thankful for my friends...I MUST admit, I have many, and I'm thankful that I DON'T know "why", just that they ARE!!

Happy Thanksgiving Day, Canada! Enjoy!

We Americans should take a page from Canada and celebrate our T-Day in October also. Having ours the end of November makes everybody crazy and stressed to the max with the Christmas season kickoff the next day. Would probably make us enjoy both T-Day and Christmas more if there was more time in between them.

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you from Washington State.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and thank you Victoria for starting this thread.

I'm thankful for many things, as well, but at the moment I'm very thankful to my parents whose house I've lived and raised my youngest in for the past nine years. I'm also thankful that the house has sold (just in the last two weeks) and we will be moving to Vancouver Island next month - Fresh Start!

I'm thankful that my two grown up kids are doing well and are happy in their lives and have loving partners to share their lives with.

I'm thankful for the experience of owning a flower shop for five years, even tho I do miss some aspects of it still and probably always will.

I'm thankful for my husband, who has put up with a lot of ups and downs in the time we've known each other and is sticking by me anyway!

I'm so thankful that my 14-year-old daughter has finally come around and realized that her stepfather and I are here solely to love her and help her on life's path. Things are going very well. I can handle the emo stuff better now :)

I'm thankful for the new and old friends (some going back to toddler years!) who keep the lines of communication open.

I'm even thankful for any hardships I've endured over the years because they've made me a stronger person.

I hope to give back much more than I've received in the years to come.

Happy Thanksgiving.
