Well, off for the day and trying to decide if I want to pick up my 2 reserved copies (my son wants his OWN copy so he can read at his own PACE) of Harry Potter tonight. [I would be really tired tomorrow]

Any predictions or even potter fans? :)

I am so hoping harry survives! I know that I will read the whole book just dreading the ending. I probably won't get to read it before next month...do you think I will be able to avoid knowing?

Our copy arrives tommorrow...

Our copy arrives tommorrow, then off to the cottage for two weeks. I should read it then.

I want to re-read the 6th book, I seem to be a little fuzzy on some of the details. :hammer:

It just came.

The Canada Post Driver had 100 to deliver today and the depot he came from had 45 trucks on the road.

Time to go take that night school course in writing, or wait a moment what is the Charm you use to get a pen to write by its self.

Can we agree not to spoil the ending for us who have not finished reading the book please?

Thanks

Absolutely! I love the Harry Potter books. When was the last time any of us remember such a frenzy over reading? I love it and J.K. is my hero.

Don't know, I spent the weekend with my hands on my EARS as my kids read their copies first and kept yelling, laughing and moaning and saying "MOM don't you want to KNOW??"

So here it is monday, I am on chapter 10 :( Don't dare bring the darn thing to work, I would never get anything done!

Harry Potter.

I just bought the latest HP book. I went to pick up some dummy cakes, and Barnes & Noble is across the street. My 12 yr old son says "can we go to barnes and noble? there's this book I want to see if they have". Mind you, he has the whole HP collection. Needless to say, I bought the book.
He finished it the same day!

Last week, my husband and I went into the Village, and there was a HP festival- complete with long lines and tons of kids wanting to see "Harry Potter". The book went on sale, and lots of bars and clubs in the area were having "HP parties". Hilarious!

Harry

I got the book in the mail on the 21st and finished it the next day. I enjoyed every minute.

My daughter got hers, and had it finished in a little over 12 hours...Sheesh!

Maybe I'll have to start with the first one and follow along....

You could be like my hubby, he is reading the last book FIRST...... :hammer:

I thought the book was well done, wrapping up lots of threads, we (my kids and I) only wished she had given more to the 19 year gap.
