Has this ever happened to you?

Last week I had to do some deliveries to a Funeral home up the bay 30-40 miles away, when I entered the room to lay the arrangements on the rack some loudmouth bawled out" Buddy take them f*%$ing flowers out and plant em outside" I didn't comment other than to give this jerk a hard stare ( I really wanted to take him out back and plant him) anyway he thought this was really funny and was the only one laughing. On my second trip back in a lady took the flowers from me in the foyer with a red face but nothing was said. Just wondering if I had encountered one of the biggest jerkoffs ever or is this something anyone else has encountered at a funeral home. Been in the Biz since 78 , never seen anything remotely close to it.

Nope not here, our FD's PREFFER to have lotsa flowers... to the point, of ordering and paying for flowers for indigents...and those without families...

One FH, even pays the burial cost for those without...

I concur tho Sunny, I'da planted the dude too...

Yes they are, you better get to the funeral home because You are showing at 2:00 p.m.

Then they realize where I am going with those flowers.
Make them think.

Thank goodness he let his comments fly at a florist and not some lesser person who may have taken things the wrong way. That was fortunate for him.

I have the funny feeling that he was more than likely drunk or some other mind altered state , because nobody whose got full control of their faculties would shout out cursing at a loved ones funeral . Have been to hundreds personally and thousands professionally and have never heard the like from anybody who was stressed. Been stressed many times myself and have never cursed in public on someone I never knew, if that was the case half the people I encounter everyday would get it.
