Three big cheers for the Canadian Womens Soccer team advancing to the semi-final off the World Cup. In the process they have become the only Canadian team to ever win a game in the World Cup, the men haven't even qualified since 1986 and have already been eliminated for 2006. Having coached female soccer teams for 9 years and seeing the disparity in time and money spend on them in comparison to male teams ,(although that may only be here in Newfoundland) I think its super that they have acomplished this lofty goal without much in the way off recognition or media attention. Go Girls!!! We are **** proud of you .
